Please join us for our annual Beacon Doubles Tourney Sat-Sun, August 9-10 played at both the Beacon and Highland clay courts in Greenfield. This double elimination, best of 3 set tournament is open to men and women, ages 15 and older. Entry fee is $20.00/team. Register by 5 pm, Friday August 8, by calling or emailing Alden Booth at 413.824-8320, alden.booth@gmail.com. Please bring a can of unopened tennis balls. (The winning team keeps the unopened can.)  Gift certificates to The People's Pint and other local restaurants awarded to the winners and runners up. All participants receive a 10% discount for lunch, dinner, and/or drinks at The People's Pint during the tournament. Tournament begins at 9:30 am. Rain date is the following weekend, August 16-17.

The tournament will begin on Saturday September 28th. Players should arrive by 10:00 AM please. Match play begins around 10:30. followed by a break and afternoon matches. The event will wrap-up on Sunday. Please be prepared to play through the weekend. Water, fruit & tennis balls will be provided. Entry fee is $20.00/team. Sign-up early entrants will be limited.

GREENFIELD TENNIS ASSOCIATION

2013 Greenfield Clay Courts Preservation Benefit/Tournament

On June 15, 2013, the Greenfield Tennis Association will sponsor a special day of doubles tennis. 100 per cent of the proceeds will go toward the continued maintenance of the clay courts in Greenfield.

Men, women, juniors and seniors- all are welcome to play in this fun single day event. You will enter as a single person; your doubles partner will change throughout the day with each round. We will be playing on the very clay courts we are striving to preserve for our community- Beacon and Highland.

Arrive anytime before 8:45 AM at Beacon Field courts for warmup. Team and court assignments will start at 9:00, and play will start by 9:15.

Entry fees are $20 for GTA members, $30 for non-members. Memberships will be on sale at the time of registration. Please bring a new can of balls with you.

Lunch is being provided through the continued generosity of Subway of Federal Street in Greenfield.

The tournament will be completed by early afternoon, and prizes will be awarded.
